The racing tradition lives on with Buck's family. Susan P. Baker, Buck's wife, is President of Buck Baker Racing School Inc. She had a major influence on Buck's decision to create the racing school to teach students his wealth of knowledge about NASCAR. Today, she still plays a vital role in the company and is well respected in the NASCAR community.

Buddy Baker, Buck's son, trained under his father and follows in his footsteps, with his impressive racing track record and his current position as an instructor at the school. Buddy's career includes winning the 1980 Daytona 500 and still holds the track record at 177.6 mph. In 1977, Buddy became the first driver to race on a closed course (Talladega) at 200mph. Buddy has also won 19 NASCAR races, ranks 9th on the NASCAR all-time list for top 5 finishes (202), 10 th for pole positions (40), and has received several Hall of Fame/Legends inductions.

Buck's daughter, Susie Baker, was also tutored by her father starting at age of 14. She graduated from Queens University and is VP of Operations. Susie also instructs at the school, instilling a true family tradition.
