Founded in 1980 by NASCAR racing legend Buck Baker, the Buck Baker Racing School has been proudly instructing amateurs, budding-champions, and racing pros alike. Over two decades ago, Buck recognized the need for a racing school to train future drivers, and to raise more interest in the sport as a whole. Buck and his family, including son Buddy, and daughter Susie, continue to carry-on the racing tradition, operating the oldest and best-known NASCAR-type racing school in America. Over the years, our school has had the honor of training some of racing's best, including: Four-time Nextel Cup Champion, Jeff Gordon and 2002 Nextel Cup Champion, Tony Stewart, among others.

Our school has expanded to operate out of five racetracks in the southeast: the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, North Carolina Speedway, and the Lowe's Motor Speedway.

With safety as our top priority, we also strive to provide our students with state-of-the-art equipment. In March of 2004, Buck Baker Racing School partnered with XTREMEX3, to offer their tri-media stock car application for our ongoing racing seasons. XTREMEX3 is an in-vehicle solution that enables Buck Baker Racing School to record, store and play back all dimensions of their students' extreme racing experiences.

Improvements like these, paired with our exceptional level of instruction, continue to set our racing school apart from our competition. Our passion for racing is fierce and we intend to instill this spirit in others, for many years to come.
